Charming hotel in Tours

In Tours city center, just across from the Opera House, discover the Logis Hôtel du Théâtre. Nestled in the heart of a quiet street, it's the ideal establishment for all your stays.

Stay at this charming hotel in Tours, all year round, for your family vacation, romantic getaway, or business trip.

On the historical side, between 1804 and 1807, the young Honoré de Balzac studied here. Born a few years earlier to parents from Albi and Paris, he learned to read and write at the Pension Le Guay.

Balzac's family, having become prominent in the region, left Tours in 1814, leaving behind an indelible mark, both in his home on Rue Nationale and in the pension, which has become your charming hotel.

An establishment steeped in history

The family-run hotel where you will be staying boasts a rich and fascinating history. In the 19th century, there were around ten guesthouses in Tours, including the Pension Le Guay, where the Hôtel du Théâtre is located today.

You will be charmed by the guesthouse feel that reigns throughout the establishment. Proximity and friendliness are the key words of this hotel in central Tours.

Our establishment spans three floors and does not have an elevator. We are therefore unable to accommodate guests with reduced mobility.

Welcoming and cozy rooms

Our 14 rooms offer you all the comfort and amenities you need. In addition to quality bedding, you'll appreciate the private bathroom and all other amenities.

On the day of your arrival, you'll have access to your room from 1 p.m.. You must vacate it by 11 a.m..

Some of our rooms can accommodate a baby crib or an extra bed, at an additional cost. We invite you to contact us for more information.

A unique and friendly universe

The decor of our charming hotel is warm and celebrates opera and music. Throughout the hotel, as well as in the rooms, you will find the unique works of the artist HOANAMI.

After spending several years in Japan, he created numerous manga-inspired drawings on tablets. In the breakfast room, you can admire a representation of the muses, created by the artist.

A space for relaxation and sharing

On the second floor, you can settle into "Le Petit Salon de Balzac". Relax in the armchairs, admire the decor, the painting with the bouquet of lilies, and appreciate the library, which presents the entire "La Comédie Humaine," written by the site's leading author.

Whether you're alone or with other travelers, this is an opportunity to experience a few moments of sharing and conviviality.
