Charming hotel in Tours

In the city centre of Tours, just opposite the Opera House, discover the Logis Hôtel du Théâtre. Nestled in the heart of a quiet street, this is the ideal place for all your stays. Stay in this charming hotel in Tours, all year round, for your family vacation, romantic getaway, or business trip. In the 19th century, the building was a school, "La Pension Le Guay," where the young Honoré de Balzac learned to read and write from 1804 to 1807. The Balzac family, having become prominent in the region, left Tours in 1814, leaving behind an indelible mark, both in their home on Rue Nationale and in the boarding house, which is now your charming hotel.

An establishment steeped in history

The family-run hotel where you will be staying boasts a rich and fascinating history. In the 19th century, there were around ten guesthouses in Tours, including the Pension Le Guay, where the Hôtel du Théâtre is located today.

You will be charmed by the guesthouse feel that reigns throughout the establishment. Proximity and friendliness are the key words of this hotel in central Tours.

Our establishment spans three floors and does not have an elevator. We are therefore unable to accommodate guests with reduced mobility.

Welcoming and cozy rooms

Our 14 rooms offer you all the comfort and amenities you need. In addition to quality bedding, you'll appreciate the private bathroom and all other amenities.

On the day of your arrival, you'll have access to your room from 1 p.m.. You must vacate it by 11 a.m..

Some of our rooms can accommodate a baby crib or an extra bed, at an additional cost. We invite you to contact us for more information.

A unique and friendly universe

The decor of our charming hotel is warm and celebrates opera and music. Throughout the hotel, as well as in the rooms, you will find the unique works of the artist HOANAMI.

After spending several years in Japan, he created numerous manga-inspired drawings on tablets. In the breakfast room, you can admire a representation of the muses, created by the artist.

A space for relaxation and sharing

On the second floor, you can relax in "Balzac's Little Salon". Enjoy the armchairs, admire the decor, the bouquet of lilies, and appreciate the library, which displays the complete "Human Comedy," Balzac's major work.
